Research Interests:

My chief research focus is the molecular epidemiology and nutritional risk factors in melanoma, multiple myeloma and brain cancer etiology.

Clinical Interests:

I am not a clinician. However, I have had many years of experience in clinical epidemiology, with a focus on eye disease (primarily ocular melanoma) treatment and outcomes. Research in this area, in particular, gaining a better understanding of natural history of disease at the molecular level, and interactions of genetic factors with treatments on clinical outcomes I consider to be one of the more important and potentially fruitful lines of inquiry in the next few decades.
