Research Interests:

Dr. Gillies' current research projects are focused on the use of non-invasive imaging for cancer therapy and are divided into three interrelated areas; (1) The interrogation and modeling of the tumor microenvironment and its effect on tumor progression and therapy; (2) Development of multivalent targeting molecules for specific cancer imaging and delivery of therapy; (3) The use of imaging as a biomarker of therapy response.
