The Leukemia Section within the Malignant Hematology Department at Moffitt offers a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including medical oncologists, hematopathologists, and radiation oncologists, who diagnose and treat a variety of leukemias, MDS, and myeloproliferative neoplasms.
Members of this specialized team meet weekly to discuss individual patient cases to provide a comprehensive diagnostic workup, treatment plan, and follow-up strategies. They also explore research trial opportunities for patients with these diseases.
