Since the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute first began its research efforts in 1993, the organization has steadily gained prominence within the field. Just five short years later, Moffitt achieved National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Center status, making Moffitt one of only 41 centers in the U.S. that make up an alliance that shares cancer research, practices and innovations in an effort to diagnose and treat cancer more effectively.
Today, research at Moffitt includes more than 135 investigators organized around five scientific programs. As a donor, your contributions go directly toward supporting this world-class research and clinical facility, ensuring we have state-of-the-art equipment throughout our laboratories and clinics, while giving us the resources to provide the highest possible quality care to our patients.
Our success is directly attributed to your generosity. You make it possible for us to carry out our mission: to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. And for that, we thank you.
