Educational Objectives

After reading this issue of Cancer Control, clinicians will be expected to:

  • understand the role of the sentinel node technique in modern oncologic surgery,

  • discuss the most significant trials of sentinel node surgery,

  • prescribe appropriate cytokines for older patients who will receive chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma,

  • recognize hypopituitarism in childhood and discuss its causes,

  • manage patients with acromegaly, and

  • counsel patients on the benefits and risks of complementary therapy for cancer.
