Training Objectives
Post-doctoral fellowship in Cancer Disparity Research:
Deadline for applications is
December 9, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
Mechanism of Support:
The award will be funded by the Center for Equal Health-Research Training and Education Core Post-doctoral fellowship funding.
Eligible applicants:
Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. in a health related area before January 2012 and must be interested in working with mentors in the area of cancer-related health disparities.
Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards:
One award per year will be awarded to one qualified researcher each year.
Special Date(s):
The deadline for applications is December 9, 2011. Appointments will be announced in mid-December and the post doctoral candidate will be expected to begin their appointments by January 2012.
Application Materials:
Application material should include the following:
A statement of research interests and how it relates to cancer-related health disparities - not to exceed one page
A minimum of two letters of recommendation
A Curriculum Vitae
PDF copies of up to three manuscripts published, in press, submitted or in preparation wherein the applicant is a named author.
Scanned copies of current academic transcripts for all degree awarding institutions
