Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE)
Dr. Friedman is a collaborator in the ICARE initiative. She is the founder of a nonprofit organization called Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE). The mission of FORCE is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by HBOC (hereditary breast and ovarian cancer).
Dr. Friedman has experience with organizing extensive outreach activities to provide support and education for BRCA mutation carriers. FORCE has developed an extensive collection of educational materials, which are regularly shared with participants in our ICARE Initiative.
