Tampa General Hospital
The Moffitt Clinic at Tampa General Hospital is the satellite location for Moffitt Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Moffitt Clinic at TGH opened in July 1999 to serve the growing number of Moffitt's South Tampa and southern Hillsborough County patients needing outpatient cancer care. Moffitt's partnership with Tampa General Hospital was a natural choice to meet the needs of this population. With an infrastructure already in place at a location convenient to South Tampa, Moffitt now can shorten the distance between the treatment of cancer and wellness in a comfortable and intimate setting closer to home and work.
