Prior to joining Moffitt she worked as a General Surgery Physician Assistant at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine for 8 years. Wanda completed her undergraduate degree in Information Science at The University of Pittsburg in Pittsburg, PA, her MBA at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA and her Masters of Health Sciences and Physician Assistant training at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the both the Florida Board of Medicine and the Pennsylvania Board of Medicine. Wanda first assists in surgery and in the evaluation and management of patients in the perioperative and observation setting. She is also a co-investigator on multiple trials. Her primary specialty is breast surgical oncology however she also assists in general surgical oncology cases as well.
