I think that one of my primary goals in seeing a new breast cancer patient is to give them a plan and hopefully allay some of those fears and give them some comfort.

The Lifesaving Power of Early Detection

Early detection of breast cancer saves lives by finding cancer when it’s most treatable.

Moffitt's expert breast radiology team sees all types of breast conditions and knows what to look for in your annual screening to give you the most accurate results.  They use the latest technology, like 3D Mammography, understand all the complexities of different breast types, including dense breasts, and provide each woman with a breast cancer risk assessment so you can be proactive with your health.

Screening mammograms are recommended every year for women starting at age 40, and earlier for those who have a heightened risk of developing breast cancer due to their family history or other factors. Anyone can schedule a mammogram with Moffitt experts. No referral is needed.
