Levi Garraway, M.D., Ph.D., is Executive Vice President, Global Head of Product Development, and Chief Medical Officer at Roche. Since joining in 2019, he has led all aspects of late-stage clinical development, and in 2023 he became a member of the enlarged Roche Corporate Executive Committee. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Stanford and sits on multiple advisory boards of leading academic cancer institutes. Levi earned his degrees from Harvard, completed medical training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. A recipient of numerous cancer research scientific awards, he spent over a decade on the faculty at Harvard Medical School, Dana-Farber, and the Broad Institute where his research contributions in cancer genetics helped shape the future of oncology innovation.

Craig Maxwell is the Senior Vice President and Head of Oncology R&D Strategy, Business Development & Academic Research Partnerships at AstraZeneca. He leads the company’s Oncology and Hematology R&D strategy, focusing on internal and external innovation in Cell Therapy, ADCs, Radioconjugates, AI, and diagnostics. He also drives AstraZeneca’s efforts to scale cell therapies for solid tumors, hematologic cancers, immune-mediated and rare diseases. Since joining in 2014, Craig has played a key role in strengthening AstraZeneca’s oncology pipeline through strategic acquisitions, including Neogene, Gracell, and Fusion. Previously, he held senior leadership roles in investment banking at JP Morgan and Bank of America.

Seema Verma

Executive Vice President & General Manager
Seema Verma is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences. She leads efforts to integrate clinical research with care delivery, aiming to improve patient outcomes. Previously, she was the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) from 2017 to 2021, managing a $1.4 trillion budget and 145 million beneficiaries. Verma has also held advisory roles for private equity firms and healthcare companies. Her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic expanded telehealth and vaccine access. Recognized as a national healthcare expert, her insights have been featured in top publications like The Wall Street Journal and Health Affairs.
