The PGY-2 Oncology Residency Program is 12 months in duration and each resident must provide a minimum of 2,080 hours of service during as determined by the MCC Department of Pharmacy and Residency Advisory Committee. Resident schedules will comply with current duty standards of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). For this commitment, the resident will receive a competitive stipend, health care and other insurance benefits according to MCC Employee Policy for full-time exempt employees of the Department of Pharmacy.

The resident will receive 27 Paid-Time-Off (PTO) which may be used for vacation, holidays, interviews, conferences, and short-term illness. The resident will receive reimbursement for expenses incurred for attendance at two conferences (ASHP Midyear meeting and HOPA Annual Conference). Additional benefits include unlimited use of the Moffitt Cancer Center medical library.

The resident will fulfill pharmacy staffing requirements by providing central pharmacy support and infusion center pharmacy support during approximately 20 weekends a year. The resident will be required to work one Moffitt-recognized minor holiday and one Moffitt-recognized major holiday.
