Experience cutting-edge research at one of the nation's top comprehensive cancer centers. Moffitt Cancer Center offers research training to students in various subjects. Our training opportunities take place over the course of at least eight weeks but can last up to a year. Qualifying internships may be renewed for additional time, depending on the nature of the project.
Prospective trainees may elect to participate in research either in a wet or dry lab, with the mentor of their choice. As higher education is shifting its requirements to include research, this experience is vital for students looking to prepare themselves for the next step in their careers. Research trainee positions can be volunteer-based or may consist of a small stipend, which is up to the discretion of each lab. Join us in our mission and become a part of something greater.
