She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. She then completed her Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She has been practicing in medical oncology since 2012 after training as a P.A. student at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Tx. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine. Jessica’s prior research interests include investigating novel therapies for the treatment of Multiple Myeloma and she was a co-investigator for several clinical trials while at the University of Chicago. Jessica joined the Moffitt Cancer Center family in 2016. She also has interests in the education of advanced practice professionals and has active roles in training physician assistants and nurse practitioners in her field. She also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Tampa’s Physician Assistant Program. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
