Complex General Surgical Oncology (CGSO) Fellowship Match
Applicants to the 2023 Surgical Oncology Fellowship Match will submit applications and supporting documents through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The SSO will not accept applications for the match. Applicants must request a Token from the ERAS Fellowships Documents Office (EFDO) prior to registering on MyERAS, beginning June 9, 2022.

| Application Opens | MyERAS will open for fellowship applicants to register and begin working on their applications on November 16, 2022. MyERAS opens for programs to review applications on December 7, 2022. |
| Application Deadline | The deadline to submit your application via MyERAS is January 16, 2023. No exceptions will be made. |
| Interviews | Interviews will take place February 1, 2023 – May 30, 2023. Interviews will be conducted virtually in 2023. |
| Rank Order List Entry (via NRMP) | The Ranking Entry process will be conducted through the National Residency Match Program (NRMP®). Program candidates must register with the NRMP® (even if you have utilized the R3 system before). Please do this by going to Registration, Ranking, and Results® (R3®) system, using a unique email, username and password. Registration opens on March 22, 2023. Rank Order List Opens: April 23, 2023 Quota Changes Due: May 17, 2023 Rank Order List Deadline: May 31, 2023 |

| Fellowship Start Date | August 1, 2024 – Exceptions: University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, and McGill University start date is July 1. |
