After cancer diagnosis, some patients may experience symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, insomnia or other mood changes that could negatively impact their quality of life and how they cope with their cancer diagnosis and treatments. Patients who have a history of depression, anxiety, or other psychiatric diagnoses may experience a worsening of their symptoms and require additional care. The Behavioral Medicine psychiatrists and clinical psychologists are available to provide diagnostic assessments, psychotherapeutic interventions and medical management.

A Behavioral Medicine clinical psychologist is also available to conduct neuropsychological evaluation, a comprehensive assessment of cognitive and behavioral functions using a set of standardized tests and procedures.

To request a referral to the Behavioral Medicine Clinic, please speak with your doctor, nurse, or social worker.
