The goal of the Interventional Pain Management clinic is to help manage acute and chronic pain in cancer patients and to improve quality of life through the treatment of pain as a disease rather than a symptom. 

Several conditions are routinely evaluated and successfully treated in our clinic, including but not limited to:

  • Injury to nerves in arms and legs by tumor

  • Spinal compression fractures  
  • Pain in hands and feet (peripheral neuropathy)  
  • Intractable pain from cancer that has spread 
  • Complex regional pain syndrome, also known as RSD or CRPS 
  • Palliative care of advanced/terminal cancer pain
