Our services
Moffitt’s Melanoma Brain Metastasis Clinic—one of the first clinics of its kind - focuses on improving prevention strategies and treatment options for melanoma brain metastasis and leptomeningeal disease through ambitious clinical research and multispecialty care. Merging progressive therapies with the latest research breakthroughs, Moffitt is able to provide more effective treatments for late-stage melanomas that have metastasized to the brain, including to the meninges and cerebrospinal fluid.
Supportive care is another major focus of our program. Cancer isn’t strictly cellular - it also impacts mental health and influences many aspects of everyday life. That’s why our team includes neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, psychiatrists and social workers who help patients navigate the unique challenges that metastatic brain cancer can bring. Additionally, patients have easy access to nutritional advice, massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga and other healing and wellness services to promote overall well-being and enhance quality of life.
