Biostatistics and Bioinformatics News and Events

The Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics welcomed three new faculty members in 2021: Laurence (Bob) Gore, PhD, Timothy Shaw, PhD and Paul Stewart, PhD.

The department will host the 2021 ASA Florida chapter meeting virtually on April 2-3. Dr. Blakeley McShane from Northwestern University and Dr. Andrew Gelman from Columbia University are the two keynote speakers. Click here for registration and abstract submission.

The meeting will include an invited COVID-19 panel discussion session, invited sessions, contributed sessions and networking. Invited speakers and the tentative titles of their talks are posted on the meeting website.

The Florida Machine Learning Conference was canceled due to COVID-19.
