Moffitt directly employs over 150 faculty representing a diverse group of scientists and physicians, all dedicated to cancer research. This includes practicing physicians and PhD scientists, who are all hired into academic appointment, promotion, and tenure structure. A strong collaborative culture integrates the expertise of faculty to work together daily to translate new findings to the most innovative and personalized approaches to cancer treatment and prevention.
Moffitt has experts in many areas of cancer research including but not limited to biologists, biostatisticians, behavioral researchers, chemists, clinical trialists, physician-scientists, epidemiologists, geneticists, genomics experts, health outcomes experts, immunologists, informaticists, and mathematical theorists.
