Breast Cancer, Ductal Carcinoma In Situ, Inflammatory Breast Cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Triple Negative Breast CancerHeather started her nursing career in 1995, and has been a nurse practitioner in women’s health since 1998. Heather has worked at Moffitt Cancer Center in the Comprehensive Breast Program for more than 16 years. She also has many years of experience in the community working in women’s health. Heather practices independently and in collaboration with doctors in providing comprehensive care to breast surgery patients. Her role includes performing history and physical exams and developing and implementing treatment plans for new and established patients in addition to the postoperative management of breast surgery patients. Heather works closely with Breast Oncology surgeons Dr. Catherine Lee and Dr. Brian Czerniecki. They combine their expertise to provide comprehensive care to their patients at every step of their cancer journey. She is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner as accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Corporation (ANCC). Heather earned her MSN from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her BSN from Florida State University.
