Lela completed her undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Public Health in 2019 at the University of South Florida before continuing at USF to complete her Masters of Public Health with a focus in Maternal and Child Health in 2021 and Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2023. Prior to transitioning to Gynecologic Oncology at Moffitt, Lela spent her first year out of school working in OBGYN in the community health setting. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine.
