Overview
Sonya Pflanzer, MPAS, RD, PA-C, CCMS is a Certified Physician Assistant and a Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist, specializing in Cancer Survivorship at Moffitt Cancer Center where she has worked since 2008. She is a co-director of SOAR, an educational program for breast cancer Survivors moving forward after cancer treatment. She also holds a national certification as a Registered Dietitian and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition from Florida State University followed by completion of a Dietetic Internship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Sonya completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida. She is also a member of various professional organizations. Sonya is passionate about all things food and helping cancer survivors live their best life.
