Moffitt Cancer Center is committed to furthering its mission to “contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer”, while teaching the next generation of healthcare leaders. Thanks to the efforts of the Chief Operating Officer, Sabi Singh, and Organizational Integration Senior Partner, Odalys Capote, the Administrative Residency Program, which was relaunched in 2024, continues to grow!

About the Administrative Residency Program

Moffitt's Administrative Residency Program is housed within the Office of the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Spanning one year, the program offers residents a comprehensive, immersive experience at Moffitt. Throughout the year, residents engage in two primary phases: rotations and projects.

Rotations, which typically last one to two months, are scheduled across various organizational functions. During these rotations, residents learn directly from Moffitt's leaders, gaining valuable insights into the organization's operations and strategic priorities.

The core focus of the program is to gain experience by leading or contributing to institutional initiatives. Residents are assigned projects either individually or in collaboration with peers, allowing them to apply their skills in real-world settings while deepening their exposure to the organization and contributing to the mission.
