Moffitt Cuts Ribbon on Nursing Control Center
This past week, the new Nursing Mission Control Center celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The state-of-the-art facility is thoughtfully designed to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. On one side, the center features virtual nursing (vRN) consoles, where dedicated teams monitor patient care and trends, support clinical staff and assist with patient education, admissions and discharges. The opposite side of the center is dedicated to overseeing patient placement and managing patient flow. This innovative setup enables real-time monitoring and coordination across both Moffitt’s main hospital's and Moffitt McKinley Hospital’s inpatient units, ensuring seamless, high-quality care for all patients.
