I obtained my Ph.D. from Toulouse Cancer Research Center in France where I studied interactions between cancer cells and tumor microenvironment that impact aggressiveness of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. In the Oskarsson Lab, I study the molecular properties of disseminated cancer cells (DCCs) in breast cancer. DCCs can survive current therapies and stay viable in secondary organs as potential seeds of metastasis. Our goal is to identify vulnerabilities in DCCs that can be used to therapeutically target these cells and prevent metastatic relapse.
