Daisy Shen, PhD

Yuanyuan"Daisy" Shen received her MD and become a fully licensed general surgeon in China.  After relocating to U.S., she spent two years as a Clinical Research Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine, investigating tumor biology and glucose metabolism. She earned her PhD in Biomedical/Clinical Informatics from the University of Missouri in 2022. Before joining Moffitt, she utilized her advanced surgical oncology expertise along with cutting-edge AI methodologies/technologies in studies on identifying immunotherapy-sensitive subpopulations, primarily in breast cancer and colorectal cancer patients.
