Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Leukemia, Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), Non-Hodgkin LymphomaDr. Feld is an assistant member of Moffitt Malignant Hematology and Cellular Therapy at Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines. He received his MD degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, followed by a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. Dr. Felds joins us from Mount Sinai Hospital, Tisch Cancer Institute, where he was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology and was a member of the Leukemia/Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) Groups.
Dr. Feld’s clinical interests include malignant hematology, with a particular focus on chronic and acute leukemias, and a special interest in treating patients with myeloid malignancies, especially myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). His research interests are centered around acute and chronic leukemias, with a focus on clinical trials and novel therapeutic development in MDS and AML. Dr Feld has also conducted translational research on understanding how the bone marrow microenvironment, particularly T and NK cells, may impact MDS and AML disease pathogenesis. Dr. Feld grew up in South Florida and is looking forward to returning to his hometown.
