Breast CancerDr. Kathrin Dvir is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Oncology and Assistant Member in the Department of Breast Oncology. Dr Dvir earned her medical degree from St. George's University of London Medical School in the United Kingdom and completed her medical internship at Cambridge University Hospitals, Cambridge, United Kingdom. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida and a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Dvir specializes in the care of patients with breast cancer, with a particular focus on providing compassionate, cutting-edge care tailored to each individual. Her research interests include advancing the understanding and treatment of Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC), exploring strategies for secondary prevention of breast cancer, and driving innovation in personalized breast cancer therapies.
