She received her medical degree from the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine. She completed her Radiation Oncology Residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Her clinical expertise is in the treatment and management of gastrointestinal tumors, including rectal, pancreatic, anal, esophageal, gastric, and hepatobiliary tumors, as well as, the treatment of oligometastatic disease.
Dr. Dooley is clinically focused on utilizing targeted radiation techniques such as MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) with image guidance to optimize tumor control and minimize side effects for her patients.
Dr. Dooley's research interests include further individualization of radiation treatments to improve outcomes for patients with gastrointestinal cancers. She also has a research interest and passion in improving the treatment experience for patients undergoing cancer care.
