Cancer InFocus is an interactive, web-based mapping and data visualization tool adapted by Moffitt Cancer Center from software developed by the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center. It allows users to explore demographic, socioeconomic, and health-related data across Florida counties, with census tract-level detail available for counties within Moffitt’s designated catchment area. Users can filter publicly available data (e.g., ACS, CDC PLACES), create custom maps, generate county profiles, and examine geographic disparities.

The tool also allows users to overlay key location-based resources, such as mammography sites, oncology providers, lung cancer screening locations, and environmental risk sites. Cancer InFocus is freely accessible and designed to promote data-driven conversations around cancer prevention and community health needs.
