Complete an online application

Moffitt accepts applications through our careers site. You will have the opportunity to set up a login ID, create a profile, submit your resume and apply for the positions that interest you. We encourage you to apply for a specific position due to the high volume of job seeker profiles we receive daily.

Applicant Screening

Only if an applicant meets the position's qualifications will they be contacted. A typical timeframe for this initial contact is one to three weeks. Contact may be in the form of email, text or phone call. Applicants are welcome to check the status of their application online by logging into the portal where a login ID and application were completed.

Interview Process

If an applicant is selected to continue in the process (not everyone is selected for an interview), a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will connect with them. Depending on the role, the process may involve multiple styles of interviews, which could include, but aren't limited to, a phone screen, a virtual interview and/or an in-person interview. ​​​​​We'll use this time to get to know the candidate, their experiences, and how they may apply to the position, the team and Moffitt’s overall strategy. It's just as much the candidate’s time as it's ours, we'll be ready to share as much insight as we can.

Candidate Selection/Offer

Once a candidate is selected for a position, they will receive a contingent offer from the talent advisor and agree to a tentative start date. Applicants who accept a contingent offer of employment must satisfactorily meet all requirements of the comprehensive pre-employment screening that may include, but not be limited to employment and education verification, background check, drug testing, etc. When all requirements are successfully met, a new hire will be welcomed to New Hire Orientation.

Please note that the length of each stage in the process is hard to accurately define as it varies per role and candidate. Moffitt understands the importance of prompt communication and strives to ensure that the hiring process is as efficient and successful as possible.
