Medical Assistants
Moffitt outpatient clinics provide students currently enrolled in an accredited Medical Assisting program with the clinical hours, equaling the required externship. Students are given hands-on experiences and may be required to perform some or all of the following skills: phlebotomy, vital statistics, prepare exam room, file records, billing, obtain consents, obtain patient history, specimen collection, minor surgical/sterile procedures, etc…
