Free Run Coaching Program Offered Ahead of Miles for Moffitt
The 20th annual Miles for Moffitt presented by AutoNation is right around the corner. The event dedicated to fueling life-saving cancer research includes opportunities for participants to run, walk, volunteer or cheer on a loved one from the sideline.
This year, the event on Nov. 22 will include a 10K, 5K, 1K Fun Run, Kids Dash and the new 15K Challenge.
If you’re new to running or want to level up your stride ahead of race day, certified coaches Luis and Marco Echeverry of Run Adaptive are leading a free eight-week training program.

Every year, the Echeverry brothers participate in the event surrounded by family, friends and other supporters.
The Echeverry brothers have participated in Miles for Moffitt every year since 2008. It’s a way for them to give back to Moffitt Cancer Center, where their aunt was treated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
“Moffitt was there when we needed them the most,” Marco said. “Everyone at the cancer center treated us like family and now, Miles for Moffitt has been a way for us to give back to that cause over the last 18 years.”
