Magnolia Campus Renovation: Red Lobby and Red Valet Closure and Access Changes
Moffitt's Magnolia Campus corridor renovation is continuing, and an upcoming construction phase will temporarily change how patients and families enter and navigate the hospital.
Phase 5 of the corridor renovation is underway, and we're preparing for the next phase of work. Beginning the evening of Oct. 7, the Red Lobby entrance and Red Valet will close for approximately four to five months while flooring replacement and other improvements take place.
What you need to know
- Red Lobby and Red Valet: Closed beginning the evening of Oct. 7.
- Alternate valet zones and entrances: Patients may enter the hospital through either the Blue or Gold Lobby. Complimentary valet parking and self-parking are available at both locations.
- Clinic access: Some routes through the hospital will change as construction progresses. Please follow the posted signs to reach your appointment.
- Publix Pharmacy and Chapel: These areas are expected to reopen as the corridor transitions to Phase 6. Park at Blue Garage to access these services.
- Rideshare drop-off/pick-up points will be at the Blue or Gold Valet.
- Admitting: All guests will receive a visitor badge upon entry at the main entrance (Gold/Blue.) These services will relocate to Room 1117.
- The Gift Shop will temporarily move to a new location between the Diamond and the Blue Lobby.
- Need help finding your way: Volunteers will be available to assist patients and families with alternate routes.
Timeline
Construction is being conducted in phases and is expected to be completed in spring 2027.
