Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center is now accepting patient appointments ahead of its opening Jan. 26, 2026.

Residents of Pasco County and the surrounding communities will soon have easier access to world class cancer care. Moffitt Cancer Center’s new outpatient facility at Speros in Land O’ Lakes is now accepting appointments for patients ahead of its official opening on Jan. 26, 2026.

The 120,000-square-foot Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center at Speros will bring the expertise of the only Florida based National Cancer Institute designated Comprehensive Cancer Center closer to patients living north of the Tampa Bay area. The facility located in west Pasco County off the Suncoast Parkway is designed to deliver exceptional convenience, advanced technology and compassionate care in a modern, patient centered setting.

Patients can now call 866-513-9713 to schedule appointments for services beginning in January.

Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center features 22 infusion bays including four with private restrooms.

“Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center represents a major step forward in bringing cancer care closer to where patients live,” said Jazmin Calzada, senior director of ambulatory clinic operations. “We know that cancer treatment often requires frequent visits for lab work, imaging, infusions or radiation therapy. Our newest outpatient center is designed to make that journey easier and more convenient without compromising the level of care Moffitt is known for.”

The new outpatient center will serve as a full service extension of Moffitt’s campus in Tampa, offering a broad range of cancer care services including:

  • Cancer screenings
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Blood draw and clinical labs
  • Medical oncology clinics
  • Radiation therapy
  • Infusion services
  • Proton therapy (starting in May 2026)

With 22 infusion bays, 18 clinical exam rooms, mammography services and four radiation oncology exam rooms, the center is built to accommodate a variety of patient needs while maintaining the comfort and privacy that define the Moffitt experience.

Bringing Hope Closer to Home

Every year, thousands of patients travel long distances to receive the specialized care that Moffitt provides. With the opening of Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center, many of those patients will now receive the same level of expert care within their own community.

Complementing the care patients receive across other campuses, Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center will operate as a full ambulatory campus offering nearly all outpatient cancer services available at Moffitt’s other sites. The majority of treatment types, including many clinical trials, will be accessible.

Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center is located at 16370 Wilton Way, Land O’ Lakes, Florida 34638, and will operate with patient convenience in mind through extended weekday hours.

  • Clinic Hours: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Radiation Therapy: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Proton Therapy: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (opens May 2026)
  • Infusion Services: 7:30 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
  • Radiology Services: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

These hours are designed to support patients who may require early morning or late day appointments, especially those receiving infusion or radiation treatments that occur multiple times per week.

This flexibility means patients can choose the most convenient location for their treatments, whether they need imaging, labs or infusion appointments, closer to home. Inpatient procedures and surgeries will continue to be provided at Moffitt’s campuses in Tampa.

Growth Ahead: Proton Therapy Opening in Spring 2026

The outpatient center is part of a larger vision unfolding at Speros, a growing life sciences campus in Pasco County anchored by Moffitt. The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Proton Center, also located in the Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center, will open in May 2026.

Proton therapy is an advanced form of radiation therapy. While conventional radiation uses photons, proton therapy uses protons or positively charged atomic particles. Protons can be precisely controlled to release much of their energy directly in the tumor, thereby reducing damage to nearby healthy tissue.

Moffitt’s proton therapy treatment center will be the first center in Tampa Bay and will offer patients the most advanced form of radiation therapy available today.

The combined outpatient and proton center services will make Speros a major hub for cancer care and research innovation.
