The global Giving Tuesday movement was established in 2012 to encourage people to do good in their communities.

The goal of Giving Tuesday, an annual global movement, is to inspire generosity around the world through donating, volunteering or simply sharing acts of kindness.

Over the years, Giving Tuesday has become a way for supporters of Moffitt Cancer Center to show their compassion by making life-changing donations to cancer research. The community has helped the cancer center raise more than $450,000.
