Volunteer Hits the Right Notes for Patients Every Friday
Milosz Gasior is a young and talented musician with autism. Throughout his life, music has always brought him peace, and he has spent many years developing his talent.
In the summer of 2024, his mother, Bozena Gasior, was searching for places around the Tampa Bay area where Milosz, now 21, could perform his music. It didn’t take long for her to find Moffitt Cancer Center.
Every Friday, Milosz shares his talent with patients and staff by playing the piano inside the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Outpatient Center at the McKinley Campus.
“We are very proud to have Milosz as an Arts in Medicine volunteer,” said Amanda Bonanno, coordinator of the Arts in Medicine Program at Moffitt. “Music has had a profound impact on the patients, families and staff who he serves each week. He has been an excellent representative for our program, helping to further our mission of nurturing the spirit, offering comfort and inspiring hope through the expressive arts.”
