TAMPA, Fla. — Moffitt Cancer Center has once again been recognized by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) as a leader in digital health. The cancer center earned Level 7 distinction for both its acute and ambulatory settings in the 2025 Digital Health Most Wired Survey, placing Moffitt among the top health care organizations worldwide in the use of technology to improve care delivery.

Among more than 50,000 facilities represented in this year’s survey, Moffitt stood out for its performance in clinical quality and safety, analytics and data management, cybersecurity, population health, infrastructure, patient engagement and innovation.

The annual Digital Health Most Wired program measures the adoption, integration and impact of digital technologies across the health care industry. Organizations are evaluated on a 10-level scale, with Level 10 representing the most advanced digital maturity. Moffitt’s Level 7 recognition underscores its ongoing investment in data-driven care and secure, innovative systems that enhance both operational efficiency and the patient experience.

“As technology continues to redefine every aspect of health care, our commitment is to ensure these innovations directly benefit our patients and clinical teams,” said Sissy Schilling, Moffitt’s chief information officer. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our teams who integrate digital tools into daily care, improving access, safety and outcomes for those we serve.”

Now in its sixth year of recognition, Moffitt continues to expand its digital capabilities to support precision medicine, research and patient engagement. By leveraging artificial intelligence, data interoperability and secure infrastructure, the cancer center is building a foundation for the future of personalized, connected care.
