Moffitt Cancer Center Named a 2025 Women’s Choice Award Winner for Best Hospitals
TAMPA, Fla.— Moffitt Cancer Center has received the 2025 Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospitals. The cancer center is ranked in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for best cancer care and mammogram imaging.
The Women’s Choice Award evaluates 4,675 hospitals nationwide. Moffitt achieved this distinction through its commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. To qualify for the Best Cancer Care award, hospitals must be accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as one of four types of cancer programs, including National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers.
Hospitals were also evaluated on patient recommendation ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. All accredited and awarded hospitals must receive a recommendation rating at or above the national average of 67% on the survey. Only the top 11% of hospitals nationwide received this prestigious honor for cancer care.

For the Best Mammogram Imaging award, hospitals must surpass the national average patient recommendation score of 67% on the health care providers and systems survey. Facilities accredited for mammograms and those carrying the Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center seal from the American College of Radiology were recognized for their dedication to superior breast imaging services.
