My research is in analyzing complex biological data using machine learning and mathematics techniques. In my past projects, I analyzed multicellular patterns in stem cell colonies and movements of C. elegans worms with methods from topological data analysis (TDA). TDA is a field that studies the shape of data at multiple scales using mathematical tools. Currently, I’m developing a conversational AI using various machine learning tools to aid neuro-oncology tumor boards to be more efficient and productive. In the future, I am interested in combining TDA and machine learning methods to answer fundamental biological questions that will lead to improved outcomes in cancer treatment.
