Overview
Dr. Welch received his MD degree from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at UC San Diego, followed by a Breast and Body Imaging Fellowship at Weill Cornell Radiology, New York. Dr. Welch joins Moffitt from the VA National Teleradiology Program, Palo Alto, California, where he was Lead Interpreting Physician as well as a locums physician with Kaiser Permanente, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Alaska Imaging, Anchorage.
Dr. Welch’s clinical interests include imaging bioinformatics and application of AI to clinical cross-sectional imaging.
