Does Medicare Cover Moffitt?
Yes, Moffitt Cancer Center accepts Medicare, but what’s covered and how much you pay depends on the type of plan you have.
- Original Medicare (Parts A & B): Accepted by most hospitals and doctors, including Moffitt. You can add a Medigap plan to help with out-of-pocket costs and a Part D plan for prescriptions.
- Medicare Advantage (Part C): These private plans combine hospital, doctor, and sometimes drug coverage. Each has its own provider network and rules. Always confirm that Moffitt and your preferred physicians are in-network before you enroll for 2026.
If your plan is ending or changing, you’ll receive an Annual Notice of Change. Review it carefully. It outlines what’s different next year. If your plan is discontinued, you can switch to another during a Special Enrollment Period without losing coverage.
