    Marty Lanahan is the Regional President of First Horizon Bank in the South Region. Marty has been a leader in the banking industry for over 35 years. Much of her experience involves Balance Sheet and Income Statement oversight for large geographies in addition to leading teams focused on Commercial, Retail, Real Estate and Wealth Lines of Business. Marty has an extensive history of serving the communities in which she lives. She previously served as the Chair of the Florida Transportation Commission, the Chair of JEA and the Chair of the Cultural Council of Jacksonville to name a few. She is currently a trustee of The Jessie Ball duPont Fund and a member of the Florida Council of 100 in addition to her position on the Speros Board at Moffitt. She received a BS in Business Administration - Finance from the University of South Carolina.

Ted Couch

Theodore (Ted) Couch Sr.

    Mr. Couch became President of the Northside Bank of Tampa in 1966. In 1977, Mr. Couch left the bank to pursue the development of commercial real estate in the North Tampa area. In 1981, Mr. Couch agreed to co-fund a chair in cancer research at the University of South Florida. This assisted in the appropriation of funding by the Legislature and through the persistence of then House Speaker, H Lee Moffitt, the Moffitt Cancer and Research Center became a reality, where Mr. Couch chaired the board of directors for seven years. During his working career, Mr. Couch has chaired the University Community Hospital board and is now emeritus after 27 years of service. He has served on numerous boards and foundations and has been a consistent donor to countless charities in the Tampa Bay Community. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1954, entered a Roman Catholic Seminary for one year and thereafter attended the University of Tampa and the Louisiana State University School of Banking.

Dr. Edison Liu

    Dr. Edison Liu is Professor of Cancer Genomics at The Jackson Laboratory, an independent, nonprofit research organization renowned for its work in mammalian genetics and functional genomics, where he previously held the positions of President and CEO, and Director of its NCI-designated cancer center (2011-2021). Prior to this, he was the founding executive director of the Genome Institute of Singapore and the president of the Human Genome Organization. He was also previously the scientific director of the National Cancer Institute’s Division of Clinical Sciences, and earlier, as a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he was responsible for its breast cancer research program. Recipient of numerous awards, Dr. Liu is known for his work on the genomic biology of breast cancer through his over 340 publications. Dr. Liu obtained his B.S. in Chemistry and Psychology, as well as his M.D., at Stanford University.

    Mark Metheny, a Fort Myers native, graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Accounting. After college, Mark moved to the Washington, DC area to work for the Whitaker Foundation in accounting and grant review while earning his CPA. Returning to Florida, he spent four years in public accounting, specializing in real estate audits. He then joined a publicly held homebuilder, where he held various roles over 20 years, including Controller, Project Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Division President. Currently, Mark is the President of Casa Fresca Homes & Homes by WestBay Land. Embracing Casa Fresca’s "boldly unboring" philosophy, he strives to revolutionize the homebuilding industry by breaking barriers in the development process. Mark has been active in charities, including UF Parent and Family Philanthropy Council, Florida State University Real Estate School and is currently chairman of the AMIkids Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, two daughters, Mya and Avery and their Labradors.
