Introducing: AI in Oncologic Imaging
As one of the first programs in the country to offer a specialized AI module in oncologic imaging, our fellowship provides a truly innovative educational experience. A hallmark of the program is a dedicated AI in Oncologic Imaging module created in collaboration with the Machine Learning Department.

Fellows will complete a two-week AI-focused curriculum that includes foundational machine learning concepts, practical workflow applications, hands-on laboratory experience, and opportunities to engage in applied project work centered on oncologic imaging.
As an ACR® Recognized Center for Healthcare-AI (ARCH-AI), the program emphasizes safe, effective and clinically relevant AI adoption.
Research and Clinical Trials
Fellows receive focused training in cancer staging and response assessment (RECIST, iRECIST) and contribute to imaging for clinical trials. Opportunities for clinical research and academic development are available based on individual interests.
Innovation and Environment
Train at Florida's longest-established NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, utilizing cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art imaging systems and a multidisciplinary environment to provide advanced oncologic imaging education with integrated AI/ML access.
Career Development and Recruitment
Comprehensive mentorship supports careers in academic, private, or hybrid practice. Exceptional fellows may be eligible for faculty appointments. IMG alternate pathway candidates may also be considered for employment during or after the fellowship.
