Moffitt Hosts Tampa Bay Lightning Watch Party
Moffitt Cancer Center team members and patients gathered at the Moffitt Magnolia Campus for a special Tampa Bay Lightning watch party. This is the second time the Lightning partnered with a health care institution to host a watch party at a medical facility.
Attendees enjoyed live music, met Busch Gardens’ stilt walkers, engaged with interactive displays from the Florida Aquarium and the Great Explorations Children’s Museum, won Lightning autographed prizes and visited with Moffitt’s pet therapy dogs. The Bolts mascot, ThunderBug, also visited patients' rooms to bring game day cheer.
