Valentina Ahumada is a team member communications account coordinator at Moffitt with a strong background in academia and internal communications. Born and raised in Colombia, Valentina moved to the U.S. in 2020 and holds a master's degree in Strategic Communication Management from the University of South Florida. Valentina thrives on connecting people through words. Her past experiences include teaching college students about mass media writing and working in employee communications for a home improvement company. When she isn’t crafting compelling narratives, she’s busy stirring up magic in her kitchen. Colombian cuisine is her canvas, and she paints it with flavors that transport her back to the sun-kissed streets of her hometown, Barranquilla.
