Lost and Found
We are happy to help you find lost items at any of our locations. Found items are turned in to Security Safety Services and maintained for 45 days. After that time period, all unclaimed property will be disposed of.
How can I claim my lost item?
Property classified as "found" or held as "safekeeping" may be claimed by visiting the correct Security Safety Services Office where you lost it. To inquire about a lost item you can
- Call the location where you lost the item. The table below lists all our locations and the respective Security Safety Services Office number.
- Fill out the Lost and Found Inquire Form and one of our team members will be in touch.
We will search the inventory and let you know if we have an item that matches the description. If we do not, we will keep your information for a reasonable amount of time and call you if that item turns up in our inventory. It is important to provide us withproof of ownership for certain items. These instances will be evaluated on an individual case basis.
What if I lost my University of South Florida (USF) student ID Card or my Florida Driver's License?
These items are turned in to the USF Police Department at the MCC Campus. You can contact them at 813-974-2628.
