Moffitt's BMT team will work one-on-one with every patient.

Stem cell transplants—also known as bone marrow transplants—can be a powerful treatment option for certain cancers and blood disorders. These procedures work by replacing damaged or diseased bone marrow with healthy blood-forming cells, either from the patient or from a donor. Stem cell transplant may be used to help patients recover from high-dose chemotherapy or to treat certain conditions more effectively when other treatments are not enough on their own.

At Moffitt Cancer Center, our nationally recognized Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy Program brings together a team of experts in malignant hematology, immunology, and transplant medicine. As a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, we are uniquely equipped to evaluate whether a stem cell transplant or cellular therapy is the right path forward for you.
