Former SPARK Intern Recalls 'Transformative Experiences'
My name is Francisco Pascual, and I am delighted to share my journey with you. I had the privilege of being a member of the prestigious SPARK cohorts in both 2017 and 2018. These transformative experiences shaped my career and fueled my passion for biomedical science.

Francisco graduated from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science.
"It has been an incredible and rewarding experience, as I've had the opportunity to learn from esteemed faculty and collaborate with talented peers," said Francisco.
This past May, Francisco graduated from the USF Morsani College of Medicine. It marks a significant milestone in his pursuit of becoming a healthcare professional. Following this momentous occasion, he begins the next phase of his career as an internal medicine resident at USF.
"I am excited to continue my medical training at the institution that has provided me with exceptional guidance and support throughout my educational journey," he said.
